Bath

Had a good day in Wales I will tell you about even though I missed yesterday. I will get caught up hopefully.
Arrived Thursday morning at London Euston Station about 6:30 am. We then rode the Tube to another major National Rail Station, Paddington..

So in a nutshell we rode the train from Edinburgh, got on two other trains (although that was ony 10 minutes), hurried into Paddington Station ticket office, bought tickets to Kemble Station in the Cotswolds, jumped on the train for a 90 minute ride west.

At Kemble we called a taxi and rode 4 miles to Cirencester to a rental car agency and picked up a 2011 Vauxhall.

Then came the driving. It didn't take that long to get to Bath. We did search for about 45 minutes to find a place to park. There are plenty of parking areas, but we just kept missing them.

Bath is lovely.

Of course we hit the markets, Jane Austin museum, Roman baths, another cathedral and cemetary, saw lots of shops, a park and the Royal Crescent.

Really tired that day so didn't take as many photos. We had taken sandwiches with us and at some hot English style pies at a market.

Than it was the long trip to find our hotel. We drive around for a long time trying to leave Bath, took several wrong turns in the country before makeing our way to the highway. Missed our exit and drove another 20 miles before getting back to the exit. Went to bed.
