Today

Started out at St. Pauls Catholic church this morning. No tour, but we did walk the grounds and saw the inside. Huge church with an even larger history. We arrived early to see what we could see before our Epicurean Food Tour. As you may know, every palace and castle in the UK has it's own church or peculiar. They are all amazing. Some of them have more than one.

The Food Tour was storied with various food related history that shaped London. It continued to Borough Market, one of the most incredible food markets in the world. We tasted dozens of cheeses, sausages, breads, olive oil, truffles, lardo, beef and gravy pie and foie gras.
Here a man sells duck sandwiches.
Dozens of different mushrooms.

Next stop was Windsor Castle, residence of the royal family for almost 1000 years.

This is the largest castle in the world. It is like a small city. Hundreds of staff keep the inside and the acres of beautiful gardens perfect every day. The queen and other members of the royal family spend spend weekends here.

The state rooms are filled with Rembrandts and hundreds of other priceless pieces of art.

Tomorrow, The Tudor home of Henry VII - Hampton Court Palace, Evensong at Westminster Abbey and we head to Scotland.
