Flew back from London yesterday. Plane left at 7:40 am so we had to be at London Heathrow very early. The Tube wasn't an option as it doesn't start up that early so we had to take a taxi. Asked the concierge to book us one and he got us the most expensive Mercedes taxi in London. That's always nice. Woke up at 3:30 am, was in the taxi at 4:30 and at the airport at 5:00. Waited in line to check in for 1/2 hour and it is always nice when you hand the check-in person your passport and they ask you why you were in that particular line. As it turned out we were in the right line.

Inseated of going directly to Denver, we had to go do Washington DC. Never been to DC so that was nice. I was able to see all, the sites there in 2 hours from airport windows. Flew onto Denver, then to Kalispell. Movies on the first two flights. Second flight was too tired to make it 45 minutes. Ended up sleeping for 5 hours or so altogether.

We never missed any connections and everything was fine the whole trip. Transportation was never an issue and there was always someone there to explain or answer questions when we did have one. That really makes a trip more enjoyable.

Here are some more photos, with a little caption.
Day 2 in London:
All the above are photos of Westminster Abbey on our second day in London. The Abbey itself was built in different stages in the last 1000 years. There are many structures on the property including cloisters, chapter house and gardens. Below is a map showing the different buildings.

Next we went to Buckingham Palace. No photo allowed in the palace other than the first gallery and the mews which is where the horses and vehicles are kept.
